Who I Am

This website is operated by Amar Sheth Babu, a freelance designer and digital marketer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Throughout this policy, I and my refer to Amar Sheth Babu, and you refers to anyone visiting this site or making contact through it.

What I Collect

I collect only what is needed to answer an enquiry and to understand how the site is used.

Information you give me

When you complete the enquiry form I receive your name, your email address, the service you selected, the budget range you selected, and the message you wrote. Everything apart from your name, your email address and your message is optional. If you contact me by email, telephone or WhatsApp instead, I hold whatever you choose to share in that conversation.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and the site or search that brought you here. This is used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful, not to identify you.

Why I Use It

To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project.
To prepare a proposal, and to deliver the work if you go on to hire me.
To keep the records required for accounting and tax.
To understand which pages and sources bring genuine enquiries, so the site can be improved.

I do not use your details for automated decision making, and I do not build profiles about you.

Marketing

I do not run a newsletter from this website and I do not add enquirers to a mailing list. If that ever changes it will be something you opt into rather than something applied by default, and every message will carry a way to stop receiving them.

Who Else Sees It

I do not sell your information and I do not share it for anyone else marketing purposes.

A small number of service providers process information on my behalf so that the site and my business can function. These currently include my website host, my email provider, and analytics services that measure site usage. Each is bound to use the information only to provide their service. Where a client engagement requires it, information may also be shared with an accountant, or with a platform used to deliver the work such as an advertising or hosting account.

I may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies And Analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies. Some are necessary for it to work correctly. Others support analytics, which tells me how many people visited a page and where they arrived from. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not stop you using this site, although some functions may behave differently.

How Long I Keep It

Enquiries that do not become projects: kept for up to twenty four months, then deleted.
Client records: kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long afterwards as accounting and tax rules require.
Analytics data: retained in aggregate form according to the settings of the analytics service.

Where Information Is Held

I am based in the United Arab Emirates. Some of the services I rely on, including hosting and email, store data on servers outside the UAE. Where that happens I use established providers who apply recognised safeguards to protect information in transit and at rest.

Your Rights

You may ask me to:

Tell you what information I hold about you.
Provide a copy of it.
Correct anything that is wrong.
Delete it, where I am not required to keep it.
Stop using it for a particular purpose.

Write to emailme@amarsb.com and I will respond within thirty days. There is no charge for making a request.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, the enquiry form is protected against automated submissions, and access to enquiries is limited to me. No system is perfect, but information is not kept in more places than the work requires, and anything no longer needed is removed.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of eighteen.

Other Websites

This site links to client websites and to social platforms. Once you follow one of those links you are on another organisation website, governed by their policy rather than this one.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page. Material changes affecting how your information is used will be explained rather than made quietly.
